why aromatherapy?

Hi, I’m Lynn, but you can call me Pippy! I became interested in aromatherapy when my 3-year-old granddaughter came to visit me for two weeks. It seemed like every day she had a new ailment; she scraped her knee, she bumped her elbow, her throat hurt. I didn’t want to invalidate her feelings, but I also didn’t want to give her any type of medication. I didn’t know a lot about essential oils, but I knew that lavender was safe for the little ones, and fortunately, I had it. I grabbed some coconut oil, warmed it up, and added a drop of lavender. For the next week and a half, I used that for every real or imagined booboo. I did some research, added another oil or two and deemed it “Pippy’s Oil.” She asked that I send it home with her, and it became the talk of the family.

It snowballed from there. My DIL asked me if I could make her an oil for her back. My son asked me if I could make an oil for his headaches. My True Love joined in and asked if I could make a blend that would keep him feeling calm and collected in his high-pressure job.

I didn’t want to take chances with my family. I knew oils were healing, but I also knew they can have safety issues associated with them. I decided to become certified so I would know how to create the safest and most effective blends for my family.

why create a custom blend?

I took my desire to craft the safest and most effective blends for my family and now bring all that love to you.

The beauty of aromatherapy is that it is science-based. As a Certified Aromatherapist, I take that knowledge and then tune into my intuitive skills to craft a synergy (a fancy name for “blend”).

I have my standard synergies, but my favorite thing is to create a custom synergy. This becomes helpful when a standard synergy just won’t cut it. For example, let’s say that my headache synergy is designed to take away the pain. That’s amazing, right? And it is! But let’s say that your headaches are caused by hormonal issues. That synergy, as amazing as it may be, won’t necessarily address those issues.

You need a custom blend that is made just for you.
